The Prelude can be combined with an RPS Cadence Steam Ager to provide artificial aging prior to the dip and look test. The combination of aging and dip & look testing provides full compliance with the objective IPC ANSI and MIL solderability test standards.
Prelude 202 Solderability Test System | The Prelude 202 is designed for standards compliant solderability “dip & look” testing of electronics components. The Prelude 202 features high precision PLC motion X & Z axis motion control advanced touch screen programming a solder pot and flux station. Customer must select and purchase tooling to hold components. NOTE: System is designed to industry standard using static solder pot and testing of a sample of component terminations (leads). Testing all terminations (especially fine pitch QFN QFP components) may require N2?inertion and a dynamic solder pot which are inconsistent with testing standards.
